GENERALLY AFTER BIRTH WOMEN TRY TO BRING THEIR WEIGHT DOWN ESPECIALLY WHEN OUR NIGERIAN MOTHERS ARE ALWAYS FORCEFUL ABOUT EATING ALL THE TIME WHICH I FEEL ISN'T THE BEST SO AS NOT TO ACCUMULATE SO MUCH BODY POST-PREGNANCY FAT.
FRUITS (APPLES, BANANAS, ORANGES, WATERMELON, PINEAPPLES, GRAPES, PAWPAW) IS A HEALTHY WAY TO START THE DAY, SNACK ON IT AT NOON TIME AND ALSO ENJOY IN THE EVENING EVEN WHEN NOT IN THE MOOD FOR FOOD. THESE CAN BE EATEN IN SINGLES OR BLENDED TOGETHER TO MAKE A FRUIT PUREE.
FOOD LIKE BOILED PLANTAIN AND/OR POTATOES, PER-BOILED RICE WITH FISH, YAM AND EGGS, SMALL AMOUNT OF BEANS (TO AVOID CONSTIPATION), OR EVEN WHEATMEAL WITH EFO (VEGETABLES) OR EVEN SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF EFO (VEGETABLES) TO FILL YOU UP ARE ALL GOOD FOOD THAT MAY BE EATEN ALONGSIDE FRUITS.
