Facts have emerged on how a 16-year old boy, Abdulateef, went to their neighbour’s room at night like an armed robber, engaged his 52-year old wife in sex, later robbed her of money and then escaped.According to findings from PM Express, the incident happened at Lambe area of Ajuwon, Ogun State, where they reside.
The SSS1 student has been arrested and now undergoing interrogation at the Anti-Robbery Section of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Ogun State Police Command, over the weighty allegations filed against him.
Police sources said that Abdulateef was arrested on February 21, 2020, at Lambe area of Ajuwon, Ogun State, after he allegedly entered the residence of a 52-year-old housewife in the dead of the night, dispossessed her of the sum of N16,500 and went ahead to rape her not minding the age difference.
The housewife, (names withheld), whose husband works as a civil servant in a South West State, was said to be sleeping in her room when Abdulateef entered at about 1.40am. The suspect reportedly met the woman spread on her bed naked. With a weapon in his hand, he was said to have woken the woman up and demanded for valuables.
The suspect was said to have sent shivers down the spine of the housewife by telling her that other gang members were outside and it would be in her own interest if she cooperated or she would be dealt with. The woman quickly handed over the N16,500 she had with her and prayed the boy would leave her alone.
The intruder, Abdulateef, having seen her nakedness, commanded her to spread her legs for him as he wanted to have a good time with her. Conscious of the threat of other members laying siege, the woman quickly complied and the boy engaged her in sex.
Having satisfied himself, the boy went out happy with a mission accomplished coupled with the fact that he felt his elderly neighbour’s wife did not see his face. But unknown to him, the woman recognized him as his neighbour’s teenage son though it was dark.
At dawn, she put a call through to her husband to inform him of her experience. The husband was reported to have travelled down to his community, went to Ajuwon Police Station to report a case of robbery and rape.
When interrogated, the teenager confessed his deeds and was promptly transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation, Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further interrogation.
Police sources said that the boy had already confessed and will be charged before the Court for armed robbery and rape which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.

Joseph Joshua has been tipped to continue the legacy of his father Anthony Joshua in boxing
-
Born in October 2015, JJ is one of the motivations behind Joshua's successful boxing career run
-
Joseph was recently seen with his father when he won his heavyweight fight in Saudi Arabia
Anthony Joshua reclaimed his heavyweight spotlight with a resounding victory over Mexican heavyweight star Andy Ruiz on December 7, 2019, in Saudi Arabia through a unanimous point decision.
The Nigerian-born British fighter had earlier lost his to the Mexican, but the second showdown saw Joshua outclass Ruiz through 12 rounds of boxing action to reclaim his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts.
Joshua then appeared to be cuddling to his arms a young boy during a post-fight interview inside the Diriyah Arena, leaving everyone on the web of confusion about his fatherhood status.
And in what does not come as a surprise, Joshua has now been confirmed as the father of the young boy who many may see as a worthy heir to the throne of Joshua's boxing legacy in the future.
Named Joseph Bayley Temiloluwa Prince Joshua, the young boy was born in October 2015 to Joshua and his estranged girlfriend Nicole Osbourne.
JJ, as he is commonly called, takes after his father in term of physical resemblance and love for the boxing sport, as he is always seen with his dad on big events.
According to Anthony Joshua, 5-year-old Joseph stays with his (Joshua's) mum Yeta Odusanya who the boxer has always described as a big inspiration to him.
On the possibility of JJ toeing the path of his father, Joshua ruled out seeing his son venturing into the fighting game because according to him, he lacks the “killer instinct” his has from a tough upbringing.
Recently, JJ featured alongside his father on the GQ Magazine, and it was there the heavyweight star confessed that his son will not go into boxing because he does not have a violent background.
"I had that instinct before I ever boxed, but now I know how to handle it, control it and when to use it.
“And that’s why I think maybe JJ won’t be able to box, because when you come from a less violent background, do you have that instinct?
"JJ has the bloodline but will he be the strongest in the pack?" Joshua submitted.
Joshua also revealed the commitment of raising his son and said his mum has played a big role in raising Joseph, saying: "it takes a family to raise a man."
